Matt Capps' Line: 1 Inning Pitched- 5 Hits- 0 K's- 3 Runs
This is not the same Matt Capps that we have seen in the past. There is obviously something wrong with him, it might be the arm, it might be his psyche but either way something is going to have to change because he is just getting hit all over the park right now. Our 3 ''guaranteed relievers to make the team in Spring Training have ERA's of: 8.18- Capps. 7.50- Yates. 5.63 Grabow. When things are going this bad you need to have the balls to make changes.
The offense wasn't great again expicially when in need for a clutch hit nobody could deliever--again.
Notes
- Robinson Diaz had 2 more hits. He has had at least 2 hits in every game since he has been bumped into the #5 hole of the order.
- Why J.R. is still pinch hitting Vasquez in late game situations in beyond me.
- Chavoo and Burnett each had sub 3 ERA's-- Just sayin.
